How the amount is calculated

The installment is based on the average of the last three salaries: 80% up to R$ 2,222.17; R$ 1,777.74 plus 50% of the excess up to R$ 3,703.99; and a ceiling of R$ 2,518.65 above that. No installment can be lower than the minimum wage (R$ 1,621.00).

Number of installments

First request: 4 installments with 12–23 months worked, 5 with 24 or more. Second request: 3, 4 or 5 installments from 9 months. Third request onward: from 6 months. Only workers dismissed without cause (or by constructive dismissal) are eligible. Apply between day 7 and day 120 after dismissal.
